Mark Horne thinks that the Bible would make more sense if there were more brackets clarifying the meaning (in a way that would make inerrancy truly useful). As such, here's an example of Mark's clarified version of Psalm 7.8:
- The Lord judges the peoples;
judge me, O Lord, [not] according to my righteousness [but according to your mercy]
and [not] according to the integrity that is in me [but according to your grace].
For all who miss the humor, he's being sarcastic.
